Introduced in April 1976, the AE-1 was the first microprocessor-equipped SLR and became a classic to many, selling over 5.7 million units, also making it one of the most successful cameras of it's generation.

I've been using this particular camera for some time now and can attest to its quality and reliability. Fitted with a new battery and replacement light seals it's good to go and with an almost spotless Canon 50mm f1.8 lens, supplied with it's original box, you can be confident in your purchase.

This example is an early, February 1974, production camera with the highly prized silver chrome Shutter button.

Issues

This camera is in great condition for its age and operates flawlessly. It has some very minor, purely cosmetic wear marks, most notably a minor dent to the front ring which does not affect any function, please check out my video to see the ISO ring operating correctly.

This camera is in great condition and operates flawlessly. It has very minor, purely cosmetic wear marks, belying it's age, you would think it's just come out it's box!

The leather used for this camera's body has been recycled from an item destined for the bin, it looks great with natural wear and variation. I do not use 'virgin' leather on my cameras, preferring to give great material another life but please be aware it is genuine leather used.

This almost original condition Kodak Six-20 Folding Brownie is Supplied in it's original packaging with sales literature, I'd be surprised if it's shot more than a couple of rolls of film in it's life!

This is a great example of the second edition of the Six-20 Folding, dating from the late 1940's, with a focussing 100mm lens, smoothly operating aperture adjustment and a Dakon shutter with flash contact.
All fittings and adjustments are in excellent order, please see video below. The bellows are in excellent condition, have no light leaks, the folding mechanism is perfect and the variable shutter operates flawlessly. The folding viewfinder is intact and even the rotating red window cover on the back is present and in good order.

This must be one of the very best examples of this camera available, and is available at a great price.

A fab little Olympus Trip 201 point and shoot compact camera, with auto flash and integrated lens cover.

This camera is in good condition with no significant marks, impact or damage. It is fully working with automatic DX (ISO) coding, auto wind/rewind, fixed focus and auto flash.

New (AA) batteries have fitted, camera cleaned and it has been fully tested, including the auto-flash, see example shots for detail.

A brilliant, fun little camera providing probably the cheapest, easiest & quickest true vintage experience, just needs a roll a film and it's good to go.

The Kodak Instamatic range of cameras were produced in the 60's as the most affordable easy to use cameras available and are still a lot of fun to use.

Utilising the easy to load 126 film canister and little in the way of additional controls, in excess of 50 million Instamatic cameras were produced. Despite a fully plastic body and obvious simple design the Instamatic was many photographers introduction to Kodak, mainly due to the free giveaways the camera was obtained by.

126 film has been discontinued for over 30 years but the film cassettes can be modified to use standard 35mm film and there are numerous videos on YouTube explaining the process.

This camera HAS NOT BEEN film tested but please see the video below illustrating the condition and flawless operation of this camera.

First introduced in 1959, the Sporti is a bit of a cult classic due to it's simplicity and ease of use. Shooting on 120 roll film the camera was firmly aimed at the leisure market, with zone focusing and basic exposure setting.

This camera is in great cosmetic condition, with some wear entirely consistent with 60+ years of use. Unusually for a camera of this age the original leatherette ‘hard’ case and instruction booklet are included.
Unfortunately the case hasn't fared quite as well as the camera and is in ‘poor’ condition.

I've been unable to film test this camera so far but with a cleaned and serviced lens and shutter mechanism it's fully operational and ready to go.

This particular camera, a very late production model from April 1981 has been fully refurbished, cleaned and fitted with new light seals. As a later model it’s in great condition with just the usual minor scratches and wear on the metal top and base plates. Lens is very clean and light meter is fully operational with the red flag working as it should.
It has been film tested and prints of the test photos will be provided (see gallery). Please watch the video below to see how all functions are fully working, this is a stunning camera ready to go, just needs a roll of film.

Helios 44M-4 58mm f2.0 lens. Optics are clean and bright with no fungus, scratches, hazing or major obstructions. Focus ring good, aperture adjustment appears frozen and stuck wide open.

Cosmetically the lens is in good condition with obvious signs of use/wear.

M42 Screw Mount

A Zenit EM “1980 Olympics” Edition Black Body - a rare fully operating example of this iconic camera.

In remarkably good working condition and excellent cosmetic condition, this is a special camera.

The Zenit EM, a slight upgrade to the E model and produced between 1972 & 1982 was a very popular camera due to it’s reliability and competitive pricing. Retaining the E’s uncoupled selenium cell light-meter but moving the shutter release to detach it from the finder lever, the EM was many photographer’s introduction to the SLR camera.
Produced in large numbers in the soviet union, the Zenit is widely renowned for sometimes dubious build quality and dated technology. Some of the user controls bare a remarkable similarity to other well known soviet cameras from the 50’s and ‘looking under the bonnet’ of a Zenit confirms all suspicions.

Whilst acknowledging all of the above, a Zenit in good condition is renowned for producing excellent results, and indeed a Zenit was my first SLR camera!

This camera is fully working; solid winding, positive shutter operation, varying shutter speeds/shutter curtain, the electronic light meter operates and all controls are working as anticipated.
